GSE has an eleven-year history as a company dating from 1997 when Christie Wirsen started a consultancy based on environmental services with her husband Greg. Since that time our company has grown to 16 individuals with diverse backgrounds. In 2003 GSE was accepted into the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) mentoring program. Through participation in this program, GSE will be able to reach a larger market with our services and assist government agencies and their contractors with our successful brand of consulting. To date, GSE has performed a coastal ecological restoration project for the US Army Corp of Engineers in Barrington, Rhode Island, and has performed services at multiple military facilities throughout New England.
GSE has earned an excellent reputation as an innovative and flexible company with a high success rate. In the last eleven years GSE has made an indelible mark in New England as a consulting and engineering company, and has provided direction and guidance to a diverse clientele. Our innovative approach has reached the notice of our peers, regulatory agencies (e.g. MassDEP and NH DES), and trade organizations throughout New England.
In a relatively short period of time, GSE has made its mark in the environmental consulting and engineering industry. The diverse background of our employees, the members of the various teams we work with, and GSE's particular approach to our client's projects have all combined to produce rapid growth for our company.
